We are officially in cold and flu season, which means that my Target shopping cart is filled with bleach cleaners, antibacterial wipes, hand soap and children’s pain reliever. With both kids in school, they are constantly catching viruses and generously sharing it with the rest of the family. We try to stay proactive in protecting our health during this season with flu vaccines, good hand washing habits and taking daily multi-vitamins, but there is still an increase of school absences.
Over the years I have received advice from others about how to build the kid’s immune system, one being the controversy over the flu shot. I thought it would be helpful to share some myths and facts on the topic and to do that I’m sharing this infographic from Bankers Healthcare Group.
