Spotlight and Giveaway on Three Fantastic Children’s Books

Looking for a great book to share with the kiddos? Check out Stephanie Sorkin’s children’s books, Chocolate Shoes with Licorice Laces, Frenemy Jane: The Sometimes Friend and Nutley The Nut-Free Squirrel. They are all absolutely adorable, humorous and beautifully illustrated.

My boys and I have been rotating them at night and they have brought up great conversations on using your imagination, being a good friend and understanding food allergies.

Nutty The Nut-Free Squirrel

At the end of each book it offers a recipe to bake a special treat with your little ones. Stephanie even includes ways of making it allergy-free. If this wasn’t enough, she has a portion of the proceeds go to charities that support children, such as Soles4Souls and FARE.
