Join us for an in-person play therapy workshop on April 2, 2022, at Rancho Cordova City Hall from 9 am – 4:30 pm
The Workshop
This intermediate-level play therapy workshop explores play therapy through the lens of Attachment and Polyvagal Theory. Participants will receive an overview of the essential knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective play therapy, prescriptively applying these theories to treatment goals, and selection of play therapy interventions. Research on trauma and attachment will be presented to provide the clinical rationale necessary to understand the impacts of childhood trauma from a Polyvagal / Neurobiological perspective.
